While designing Elite Gamer, I kept thinking about moments where gamers just can’t afford any lag—like missing a shot or losing a match because the connection stuttered. I wanted the app to make those frustrating moments disappear.
Research confirms that even slight network delay “decreases the responsiveness of the game” and degrades player performance. Our vision is to eliminate those barriers: to stream games at console-quality, 4K resolution and ultra-high frame rates, anywhere, with zero compromises on responsiveness or clarity. This case study tells the story of designing Elite Gamer, from understanding the player to building a seamless, high-performance UX.
We immersed ourselves in the world of competitive gaming to uncover what fuels a player’s passion and what stands in their way. By observing their habits, emotions, and reactions, we learned how focus, frustration, and flow shape every gaming moment. This deep understanding allowed us to see the game through their eyes—where every decision, distraction, and delay can make or break the experience.

To maintain a polished and cohesive look across Elite Gamer, we built a unified design system — a shared component library that houses all UI elements, patterns, and styles. From neon-accented buttons and bold typography to modular layouts and analytics widgets, every component follows a consistent visual rhythm. This library not only streamlined design and development but also ensured every screen feels connected, making future updates faster and visually seamless.
